Whos this Jay Cutler guy? Ive never seen him? See thread about McCoy. See thread about Packers. See thread about Colts. Browns...terrible. Patriots...losing...saw WHAT! San Fran...7-1....what?
Pats are falling into a bad slump. LeShaun McCoy has always been a boss, although tonights lackluster performance is a little puzzling to have made you realize it. lol I still think Ray Rice and AP are the two best running backs in the league though. Best part is, I have all 3 on my fantasy team Rodgers is on top of the league for sure right now. It'll be interesting to see how long he rides that wave (will it be a Brees one season leading the pack hands down, or a Bradyesque dominance where he is considered tops year in and year out) Ravens are a good football team, if they had a Rodgers or Brady or a hell anyone besides Flacco they would be my pick for the superbowl. Flacco won't lose the game for you single handedly, but he won't be there to carry you over the top either. So far the Carson Palmer project is embarassing, and I am loving it. In other news the Bengals have won 5 straight now.
Bengals playing well is surprising, And id consider Brees a top 3 Qb in the NFL for the last 3-4 years, not sure how your supposed to be much better then that...
I read somewhere that this was only the second game in his career where Jay Cutler was not sacked. Just goes to show what can happen when he isn't running for his life or having imprints of his head made in the turf.
Hope the bengals beat the black and yellow this week, but I don't think they will...if they steelers fall off all roads to the superbowl go through bmore in the AFC, but then we will just lose to the cheese heads.
Hey tembry I gotta ask how did u get McCoy, AP, and ray rice on the same team. Who are you drafting with? Ha ha get me in that league!!!
I drafted in a league of guys infatuated with WR names instead of the RB point producers. lol Brees had his MVP year, but since has been middle of the pack in top QBs in the league (mainly a step down from Brady/Manning/Rodgers and there a few guys you could say are next best)... Rodgers is posting numbers to replicate a Brady 2008 season or better lol. I just wonder whether Rodgers will remain the unanimous #1 QB for several years running as Brady did, or if he will slip down the ranks as Brees did from his MVP year. Rodgers is scary good right now and has been only getting better, I want to see how long his dominance lasts!
I agree Rogers is unreal and a fantasy dream this year. Vick is killing me in my leagues with his inconsistent play every week and no rushing tds. I hate to admit it being a pats fan but I think bradys good years are behind him and Rogers is just getting started!!!
As a Steeler's fan, I'm realistic in realizing the Steeler's probably won't take the AFC north title, and might be lucky to see the playoffs. With that being said, as long as Flacco is under center, those birds are not making it to the Superbowl.
I respectfully disagree. I do agree Flaccos play so far this year has been up and down he is not the best QB in the league and never will be but he will win you games and at the end of the day thats all it takes. With the defense we have we dont need a Rodgers or Brees. I believe Flacco can and will take this team to the SB not saying its gonna be this year, but he will. Young talent is being brought in as far as WRs go and what you see the second half of this season will be the birth of an offensive identity for bmore.
Going into this season Rodgers was the NFL's all-time career leader in passer rating during both the regular season (102.7), and in the post-season (112.6) – among passers with at least 1,500 and 150 pass attempts respectively.[SUP][/SUP] He also owns the league's lowest career pass interception percentage for quarterbacks during the regular season (1.87%). For the first 8 games this year he has played the best half of a season in his career, throwing for 2,619 yards, 24 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions, good for a passer rating of 129.1. These numbers earned him the NFC Offensive Player of the Month award for September and October, and FedEx Air Player of the Week four times (Weeks 4, 5, 6, & 7). Through week 9 of the season, Rodgers has had a passer rating of at 110 or greater in every game, the only QB in NFL history to accomplish this feat. As good as he is the damn Defense needs to step up their game, there was no reason the Chargers should have put so many points on the board last week
