    Didnt watch alot of football,

    but,

Packers looked amazing in the first half going up 24-3, then terrible in the second half getting shut out. 6-0 and a win is a win, but man did that one end ugly. Defense looked better at first, then gave up some yards, then stiffened.

AJ Hawk had his best game of the year, getting a sack and playing fired up. Rodgers is still out of this world.

Watching the game now, B-Marsh is one of my favorite NFL players, but damn is he turning into DIVA. Man is talented, but hes not putting up, and Revis is owning him. These are both A list players at their position, but Marshall sure runs his mouth for a guy whos not having giant games and scoring touchdowns.

Sanchez has made a few good throws tonight...suprising.

    It was a confusing week . . .

Giants beat the Bills after loosing to the Seahawks

Steelers won but not by much

Packers cruising threw the 2nd half

    Bucs beat the Saints ? ? ? ? ?

Cowboys put up a fight only to get daggered in the end.

49ers beat the Lions. Then WTF with the coaches ? ? ?

    Colts really are that bad

Fantasy football is more luck than skill !

    The coach fight. IMO.

Harbough didnt do anything wrong. He won, he was fired up.

The Lions coach was a SORE WHINY LITTLE GIRL loser.

    End of story.

Neither coach was right in that situation and neither coach was wrong. Harbaugh was fired up and emotional, and rightfully so, and his hand shake and pat on the back were a bit much. Again, not right or wrong; it is what it is.

Schwartz, on the other hand, was equally as emotional and likely felt disrespected on his own field in front of his fans and teammates, and rightfully so, but chasing Harbaugh down the field was a bit much. Again, not right or wrong; it is what it is.

    Agree to disagree.

And why do teams throw at Revis?

    Or kick to Hester?

2 things you dont have to do, ever, that still happens. Just stupid.

I didn't get to see it thanks to the freakin Saints (gotta love regional coverage of games)....but Tom Brady proved once again why he is the best. Has had a rocky few games for his standard, but if the Pats are down by less than a touchdown with 2 minutes on the clock, the man is an automatic Win!

TB looked good and ate Drew Brees's lunch all day.

Lions coach chasing down Harbough was odd? I can see being pissed about the dang near shove in the back, but to chase him down and whine about it makes you look like a little girl.

His team has a losing record.

    He throws interceptions.

He is just an above average rookie at best.

    :ninja:

LOL Dude is for real and I've been saying it since the very beginning of his dominant college campaign last year. He will be a consensus top 5 QB in the league in < 3 years.

Being a Cowboy fan is really irritating. From an objective point of view I still say they have the potential to be the second or third best team in the conference. I know their record, and some say you're as good as your record shows. But I don't believe that. Look at your losses and they could easily be 5=0. They havent had an easy schedule to this point either. Their claim to fame is find a way to lose. That's too bad, because i think there is as much talent on that team as any other (exluding packers, eagles) in the NFC. Most of the time they look dominate and like a well oiled machine.

    Not impressed at all.

Passing yards are NOT an indication of anything anymore. Its apparent that the lockout effected the defensive players more then the offensive ones. 400 yards in a game is a weekly thing now.

What matters is wins, touchdowns, QB rating, and QBR.

Newton is 25th in rating, 19th in TD's, and Carolina is 1-5.

IMO, hes nothing more then a slightly above average rookie.

Not really. He just had a good game in general.

    But that was comical.

The pack may have won, but as others have said the second half Pathetic! They better start playing all 4 quarters, If they don't they'll be in for a surprize when they get to San Diego.

I guess Harbaugh said a not-so-nice thing after the slight shove. Swartz doesn't go after him right away. This isn't the first time Harbaugh has stirred things up at a post game handshake.

Still, that whole situation was :dan:. Harbaugh acted like a teenager at the mall, and Swartz responded like an annoyed dad.

    Cam Newton -- Impressed.

He's putting up better numbers than Peyton Manning did as a rookie and equal numbers to what Matt Ryan did. It's hard to compare him to Rodgers, Brady or anyone else as they were given a year (or more) to prepare. Not only that, given that he was labaled a QB who couldn't throw and was given a month to prepare for the season, its hard not to be at least a little impressed by what he's doing.

Many, including myself, didn't believe Newton would pan out...at all! He's making the team better than they were before, putting up good numbers AND making rookie mistakes. At the end of the day, he's doing what most thought he wouldn't.

The anomosity between Harbaugh and Swartz started earlier in the game. Harbaugh throws a challenge flag and gets a penalty (unsportsman like conduct) for throwing the flag. You can see Swartz say across the field "no the f---ing rules" with a smug look on his face. I still can't believe the NFL didn't fine them with the way they have been fining players.

Wallace is fast, Ben's accuracy is questionable, the DL was questionable, and the fact that the Steeler's couldn't put together 4 quarters of football is questionable.

A W is a W, but definitely raises some concern.

i got really lucky in fantasy football this week-2 of my starting RBs (michael turner and ahmad bradshaw) were scoring leaders, helping me snap a 3-game losing streak.

i hope the packers can figure out how to improve their 2nd half play because once they face up against a better team, they will actually have to fight. but i get the impression we won't be seeing much of that against minnesota next wk as vikes will be running the ball alot with ponder at QB.

as for cam newton, i can see why he gets so much hype with those fancy passing yards, but its kinda clear the panthers won't be winning games if he throws 3 ints a game. its not just the passing yards, but the overall performance. he's basically playing like a slightly above-average rookie rite now.

wk 7 should be interesting. all i have to say is two words: tim tebow. if he plays well, the tebow lovers will be all over the place. if not, the haters will be :dan:

I picked up Tebow and am starting him in place of Brady this week.

    Boom.

(ok so Brady has a bye, but I still think Tebow will put up great numbers against a terrible Miami team.)
