Some big points from week 1....

    - Urlacher gone for season
    - Tomlinson showing his age badly
    - Brady/Moss going to be nasty again this year
    - Kurt Warner showing his age
    - Polamalu injured...Steelers D isnt the same
    - Santonio Holmes is going to have a breakout year
    - AP is without a doubt the best RB in the game, and will put up MVP numbers
    - Brees is going to have another statistical nasty year
    - The Vikings are going to win ALOT of games
    - The NFC North is going to be the funnest division in football
    - Tony G is still the best TE in the league

The best part of that run was the fact that we was at a COMPLETE stop when he threw that unnamed Browns DB to the turf...AP...complete BAMF

You made this thread just so you could have another thread to talk about the Packers.

    Admit it.

hey they got us good! 1st game, long season AND we play em' again at home in Dec. i'll be we are both two totally different teams by then =-)

this is what i mean guys.... this league survives on the fans getting after each other and each person pumping up their team!!!!!!!!! thats what makes it so fun and easy to come to work.

With the cancer out of Dallas, Romo had a big night. 350 plus yards, 3 TD's and was 16 for 27 and NO TURNOVERS! Not a bad night for the offense. Romo didn't have to make sure he threw to ball at TO 15 or 20 times, he just threw to the open receiver. Crayton, Austin and Roy Williams all looked pretty good. Witten looked great as usual. The defense had me a little worried in the first half. They couldn't seem to stop the Bucks running game. But, Cadillac Williams looked good for someone who was out with two knee surgeries. He is something that the defenses need to focus on when Tampa comes to town. All in all it was a good game, though I would have liked to see more from Felix Jones

Could be the deciding factor for the Boy's this year. He is a talented player who needs to create some plays every once in awhile.

have you made it to lambeau for a game yet?? no finer venue college or pro than lambeau... the only tailgate crowd that compares is Buffalo... and only when they have a good team... I've been to 'gates at soldier, UofI, OSU (for the MI game no less), Indy, and several others, amateurs, all of 'em... the guys at lambeau know how to 'gate

Well I am a big Farve fan and life long Cowboys fan. So for me personally it was a good weekend. AP just is a beast! Love that guy too! Like Cooter said, his td run was sick.

I am happy T O is gone in Dallas. Other guys stepped up this week.

As for the league in general, the Steelers and Giants really looked strong, Philly too. Brady is the man and once again pulled one out last night. San Diego are under achievers but really talented. Oakland really played hard but Russel just stinks in accuracy. If he can't become more accurate they will always struggle on O.

I like the Jets and Rex Ryans approach on D .. Sanchez had a nice debut.

with another season or two under his belt he's gonna be dangerous... and still good enough to take attention from other weapons... he can at times demand double coverage...

the NFC North is gonna be a FUN division to watch this season
