What are you reloading? My husband reloads, mostly 9mm. and .30-30. I forgot. He also reloads for his favorite gun, a Colt King Cobra. (.357mag.) It has a Leupold red dot scope on it. I don't think they make those anymore. but it's really great. I don't think they make the gun anymore either. I forgot to mention our interest in archery. We got Miriam one of those children's bows and had some decent arrows made for it. We try to practice just about every day, six shots each. Now Miriam shoots too. It's not legal to shoot a bow in the backyard where we live, but with the high board fence and the trees and shrubbery, no one can see us. It also enables me to sunbathe with no tan lines. The girls like to play badminton in the backyard with an imaginary net. We are kind of too busy to hunt as much as we would like. But I've taken four deer with my bow and one with my muzzleloader.
The first book I e-published. The second was passed around and besides a sci-fi fan reading it, two professors read it and it is now in the hands of a third professor who has ties with a publishing house. The third I am just getting started on after a year of mapping the outline of the book. I completely spaced out on the photography hobby/2nd income as I am tailbone deep in homework every day right now.
Homework? I think I remember that you're in school. Am I right? What are you studying? Working towards?
I will complete my bachelor degrees in Photography, Business Administration, and Theology in December 2015. Not bad for three years in college.
Continue learning, writing, photography and enjoying life. I have no desire to try and jump back into the job market at 59 years of age. I might do some volunteer work with the VA Hospital too. That's right, I have my sights set high.
Bloodcrick, very nice! I never thought of rock engraving. I bet a big ole boulder with a house number in it would be very appealing to a house!
But they can never be set too high. That's great. Congratulations on everything you've done so far - very accomplishing!
Notice the detail in the two little one's BC and his son are holding! You could swear that they were slate calls!
Farming. I coach football and baseball too....so I guess that's like a hobby. Fishing has gotten boring to me.
Mt biking and repairs, refinishing old re-curves auto body and paint. and of course building strings! Hutch
Got the big boulder in front of my place!! check out my FB link at bottom bu my sig, check out my album Dans Engraved Rocks
Fishing, Keeping the wife happy, Camping, Gardening, Keeping the wife happy, Adjunct Faculty at SUNY Empire State College, Flinging arrows, Keeping the wife happy, Traveling, Helping with chores on an Amish farm, etc... oh, and Keeping the wife happy. I try to stay retired, but I keep finding all sorts of stuff to 'work' at...
Women, Clinical Rotations, and spending time on the water (boating/drinking with the occasional fishing). Hunting starts back in like 2 months exactly for me and I am counting down the days.
