I would love -7. Suppose to be -60 here on Monday. Weather service described it as "life threatening cold"

All you have to do is make a small mistake in those temps to make the hunter fail list. I have been in intensive care two times in my life and I have no reason to push things over a deer. Pass me a beer and the tv remote please

Its also spose to have like 7 inches of snow, so I thought hey, I shoot a deer, easy tracking job :). And those deer should be moving in -7

not that I'm preaching, or being a goody two shoe, but let's say you slip and break an ankle, hypothermia can set in ALOT quicker in those temps than 20 degrees. just be extra careful.

Go get'em, just let someone know where you'll be and when you'll be back. Good luck.

It was either that or this one :tu:

In all seriousness though, in sub 0 temps, the wind is the big factor. Also, if you are siting in a stand you'll want something to insulate your feet from the platform. You will also only be able to hold your bow for a minute or two, don't grab for it right away :tu:

Snowing like crazy here right now. Calling for 8-13 inches. Temps are supposed to start falling fast around noon. New spot we put a blind in the deer are there on a 3 day pattern... today is day 3. I'll be sitting in that blind this afternoon :D

4 below is my limit ... and I had lots of hand warmers ... in my pockets, in my boots, in my gloves, and a face mask .... had to move around when I got cold...
