Is there any specific weather forcast, website, or whatever, that you guys trust more than any other?

I have been burnt TOO many times this year by a certain website. <(cough, cough, NOAA, cough)>

Take last saturday for example. They said wind from 20mph. I woke up to wind being non existant, with progressivly getting breezy. WTF was that? That was what has become "normal". That site has not been close at all, all year!

I'm just wondering. Maybe yours works better...

I personally like www.wunderground.com and accuweather.com both are real reliable for me.

I use the weather channel for the basic stuff, and then stick my head out the window.

They have a frizz report. My wife would like that.

I am going out tommorrow for a morning shoot. I was going to go today, but I didnt get to sleep until 330 this morning.
going to check the weather, then maybe tomorrow.

I can count on the weather forecasts being correct if they call for crappy weather and I have to travel.

For instance, I had to drive up to Chicagoland on Tuesday. Forecast was for snow. Sure enough, there was a bunch of snow and the driving sucked. Today I have to drive back to Central IL. The forecast is for snow and ice storms. I have no doubt that it will be a miserable drive home. :(

Otherwise I check weather.com and NOAA and kind of balance out the two.

I'm thinking maybe all the networks draw a forecast out of the fishbowl and maybe the winner gets a prize! Usually one of them gets it right. I watch for the general trends like fronts etc. and then check the weather channel local weather satellite to see if rain is moving into my area and go from there. lp
