Does anybody here have a certain website they use for finding out weather conditions? Besides the obvious weather.com which i hate with a passion. Im looking for a place to go and check wind speeds and weather this year before hunts.

I use the NOAA site. I like it a lot.

    http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=La+Plata&state=MD&site=LWX&textField1=38.5341&textField2=-76.9705&e=0

That is the link for my town but you can put in your zip code and get your town. Down at the bottom of the page they have links for "hourly weather graph" which I have found to be extremely useful and they recently included the "graphical forecast" link which is very nice.

X2 on NOAA. Accuweather isn't too bad either.

Being that I work for NOAA I've got to go with my brethren over at the NWS:
http://padq.arh.noaa.gov/ just plug in your zip to get your local info.

Ever consider downloading Weaterbug to your desktop? Their short term weather reports are the most detailed I know of. And the desktop temp is nice also.

Hopefully they cleaned that up from earlier versions (2+ yrs ago). It used to install a bunch of small background adware.

    NOAA/NWS as well.

Also Intellicast or Accuweather for looping radar.

    http://www.weatherforyou.com/maps/barometric_pressure.php

That particular link goes to barometric pressure part of the site but you get to everything else from there or just enter your zip.

Siman...here is a link that shows the history off all of the weather conditions. It may help you predict a pattern for the hunts you are planning this year, therby giving you a leg up when hanging a stand early. Good luck. It also has a lot of other cool features tha you can play around with before hunts.
