I really really despise when it is perfect temperature out, and raining. I dont really have any good quiet raingear, or any for that matter, and I have always had this looming fear of tracking a deer in the rain and losing blood. I know that alot of guys are successful in this, But i cant bring myself to it. I have lost 1 deer over the years, a little doe, And lost about 3 nights sleep over it. I Try not to increase my odds of failure. Is anyone else on the same page, or am i just a wackjob?

i always loved hunting in the rain..there smell and hearing are taken away...but always gun hunted, bowhunting this year i really scratched my head while sitting in the stand one rainy eve, it's almost dark and it's raining....what if you shoot 1??? i don't think i'll do anymore eve sits in the rain...unless it's a lightb rain.
as for quite rain gear...put your rain gear on then your hunting clothes.

I've read similar threads regarding rain gear. All you have to do is buy camo that is "water proof" and forget about a seperate rain suit.

rain can be a good thing especially right before. It can also be just as good when it actually starts raining after there has been a long drought, all the deer will come out as if their playing in the rain, even the mature bucks will get back on their hoof!
