Anybody use Muck Boots while hunting? I was thinking about buying a pair for this season because I will be hunting state land where there is a lot of swamp and creeks to cross or walk through. Anyone have a pair they love or hate? I was thinking about these:Men?s UA H.A.W. 800g Hunting Boots | 1230873 | Under Armour US
I wear mine deer, bear, and bird hunting love them . I have had muck boots for three years and they have been a good boot .
I wear em. They are pretty good boots and tend to keep my feet pretty warm unless I walk s ways and get sweaty feet
Muck boots are the way to go in early season IMO, a lot wetter conditions and I often walk down a creek bed to and from my stand and they are just awesome! Also helps eliminate ticks, tuck your pants legs into your boots and the tickets fall off the rubber - one of several reasons I prefer much boots.
I have a pair I used to use for work. They are awesome for keeping your feet dry. They only time I ever had a problem was when it was below freezing and I wasn't moving much. I probably could have put on anoter layer of socks, but they I would sweat to much when I was moving around a lot. Over all a awesome boot.
Muck boots are a must for me. I had a pair that I used for a couple of years but also worked in them so Ill be getting the new Lacrosse arrowheads very soon, just for hunting. Could wear them until November, after that I put those hot-toe pads in.
I use the muck boot woody max. I have owned about every boot out there and these are by far the best i have owned.
Like mine. Don't wear them if I'm walking a lot because my feet get sweaty, but for crossing creeks and stand hunting they are great.
I've wore the original Mucks from 10-present, September-January. They will be getting replaced this year simply because they stink. Those boots have walked many miles and been covered in all kinds of blood.
Can't go wrong with mucks! It's sad but ill be retiring mine after three years for a new pair. I wear mine all deer season, shed season, turkey season, working cattle, and fishing creek bottoms. I've put too many miles on them to remember and never had uncomfortable feet. The old pair will be strictly for chores and shed hunting now, the new pair will be strictly for deer hunting. I'm guessing ill get 5+ years of hunting outta the new pair before needing to retire those as well.
