Would you say you have more knowledge on whitetails or more knowledge
on your equipment? Which would you say is your weakness?
As for me its my equipment hands down as you can see in the tech forum
I am having all kinds of issues. TY goes out to duke and JZ for the help
I am starting to be a pain I can imagine.

definitely the equipment, but I'm starting to venture out & get to do some things my self: fletch arrows,& adjust weights, etc. read all the time on deer hunting, not much on do-it -yourself articles.

I am fully set up these days to do all of my pro shop work at home and I do, minus anything that requires a bow vise, which will be my next purchase. I like doing everything myself and dont miss the 40 min drive to the closest pro shop, still I have plenty to learn technically. I doubt i will ever spend the time technically as I do on whitetails. I do enjoy every aspect of bowhunting and look forward to growing in many areas along with writing/videography till I am done.

    Archery is physics.
Hunting is not text book and there are no formulas or equations. Ask me this 10 years ago & I would have said equipment was my weakness(and to a point it was). But as time has gone on, even my limited equipment knowledge was more than my whitetail knowledge.

Equipment/technology has been my biggest weak point in the past, but thanks to many of you guys, I'm starting to understand that aspect much better. The deer, I know pretty well, but my strategy is a work in progress. (I feel like this is the year it will all come together, though :woot: )

I know my equipment hands down, the whitetail, now that is another story. I continuously learn that art every day afield.

I know very little about the equipment. This is one thing I would like to change in the near future. I live so far out in the sticks most of the year that it would make it a lot easier.

I lack knowledge on tuning issues. I need to get my act back together on this. When I was younger there wasn't something I couldn't fix on my bow, I can't believe everything that I've forgot. I really have to think about it now when something goes wrong, before I knew what was wrong when I was on top of my game. I haven't had any tuning issues at all the last 7 to 8 years. I think thats a big reason why I forgot as much as I have.
