So I am sitting in my office the other day... reading BH.com instead of working... and a fly came buzzing past my head... Not thinking much of it I just batted it away and continued on with my reading... The fly then buzzed over to my wall and landed for a rest... I then got a fantastic idea... I reached into my desk and pulled out a rubber band. .. I was at full draw (on a smaller rubber band scale) and took aim and took the shot... It was a 5 foot shot but I was comfortable out to that distance... My shot placement was a little back but it did the job and I dropped him!!! New hobby? I think so!!!! I am thinking about baiting.... but then ethics come into play.... I will not be in the woods till Oct. 20.... This helps pass the time
LOL........... Some of the things we do just to keep hunting involved in our every day activities !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great shot by the way, could you please post a picture of the entry hole??? Might switch rubber band brands if the hole was substancial... LOL PS: How did he score on the Betty Crocker Scale..........
B&C Did not score very high... He only scored around the 155 range... But it was my biggest yet... It was hard waiting the half hour before I tracked him down... Luck for me he did not go far!!!!
I dont think my blades opened because there was not a single drop of blood... Damn Mechanicals.... I am shooting fixed from now on!!!
Wow thats pretty good I'm going to have to practice to get out that far. Gotta go open the back door to let some flies in my office.
In my state it's ok to bait for them. In fact that ask you to. As hunters we have to help the population
The drag out must have been a *****!Was it a male or female? If it were a male did u do what we do up here.....hang his junk in a tree????? Did u use a ''butt out''tool? Were the weapon and ammo American made?(weapon was!)
