yep! i like that you don't need to bear hug the tree with one hand and fight it to hold it in place while getting the strap around the tree.

it made hang this stand easy. so then looking for a new stand i'm looking for a hanging bracket from now on!

    safety first!!!!

I used this super mount for 2 years and I felt it was easer then trying to just hang the stand. But the main reason I used it was to set many brackets and just leave them in the tree. I don't hunt the same trees all the time any more, so this system wasnt any faster for run and gun setups for me. I did start using the milliunum treestand mount system, and found it to be just as easy and alot more stable. No need for a 2nd strap on the milliunum treestand.

It would move with a muddy stand and bracket, and I had to use a 2nd strap. But I picked up a m-7 from milliunum and it only used just there bracket and no 2nd strap.

I use a small pulley attached slightly above stand height , hoist, tie off, secure.

I am confused, is this supposed to be new, I and many others have been using the lone wolf ez hang for years. I think the lone wolf is even simpler than this. I do have a muddy I leave out in Kansas for run and gunning but I like the lone wolf more.

I realize this thread is a few months old but folks may be out looking for last minute accessories (like me) so I figured I'd let everyone know-

I have a nice Muddy stand I hardly use b/c it was a PITA to hang with just the straps and I usually do climber hunts when I'm running and gunning. This season I am hunting different areas than in the past and the trees I'm looking to hunt aren't always climber friendly. I knew about this Super Mount and so I went looking to buy a 3 pack of them online - FYI, even though the Muddy website still has a product demo video of it on the main page; the Super Mount is discontinued and not available on their online store and also nearly impossible to find on ebay, amazon, and the big box stores.

Worried about potential safety/recall issues (why would they discontinue something that was relatively succesfull and that they had hyped so much?) I tried calling Muddy "customer service" only to find that since they were bought out by Mainstream Holdings (in 2014) they no longer have live customer support...send them an email and cross your fingers. Prior to the buy out Muddy had outstanding live customer service.

I hunt out of millennium m100 stands. They all come with a strap with a receiver on it that fits the stand snug and just place an additional strap. On my main lease I have the receiver straps in numerous stand sights and hang n hunt at various locations.
