Being new to all things bow ownership, I'm trying to figure out string waxing. Like everything else there's a bunch of different answers.
Do i wax any of the servings? And do i use low heat to melt the wax into the string?

I don't wax the serving, don't know many that do or even recommend it.
It could cause serving seperation .
And as far as the string I just rub the wax inwith my fingers. It gets warm renough.

I just wax the strings themselves, I leave the servings go. Some folks wax them, I don't. Just apply some wax in an area and spread it along the string by going back and forth with your fingers. Do it quickly and it builds up heat to get it into the string.

Sounds good. Thanks guys. It seems like there's a pretty even split between waxing your serving is great and waxing your serving is the worst thing in the world. Very confusing for us noobs.

If waxing the string is your only issue you don't have any. Wait until you start trying to decide on color of string, type of sight, length of arrow and the list goes on and on and on.

I just wax the string with my fingers.

When waxing your string, just rub it on the string well with your fingers. When you shoot the bow, the vibrations of the string moving will help work the wax in.

I've always waxed the serving, never have had any issues.

I wax the serving occasionally, not as often as I do the string.

I would never put wax on my strings. Just my opinion though.
