We shot 3, today was probably the last day for us to. Been a fairly decent season despite how slow it started. Now I'm ready for some SNOW GEESE!

It's really starting to slow down here in central Indiana. The counties surrounding Indy have a late geese season so we're still hunting them until 2/14. That's fine, but the weather simply isn't cooperating. The birds that are here are locals and they're probably the smartest birds on the planet. They see decoys about every weekend.

I don't know what part but I have a buddy that hunted near horseshoe over the weekend and he said they have decent numbers and birds coming coming in out of the south both days. They were hunting specks and had a small spread of snows and no ecaller and still managed to kill a few snows.

Dang weather. We had fun and can't wait to get back, but the weather we had shut em down. The one pic is my Dad and you get to see the quality of blinds these guys have. 4,000 decoys per blind. Tons of fun and will be a yearly adventure.

I like that idea, Travis. If we had our addition done - I'd do something like that. Until it's full you could just clip some pictures.

...and we're not "true waterfowl hunters" in our house. We totally NEVER realized that goose was open the whole month of February. I've been watching fields and never knew it came back in. Oops. But, with that being said - have four geese and a couple different sets of ducks in our pond.

Yupp I'm going to print off pictures of the bands and maybe just other waterfowl related ones to fill in space for now. Thought it was a neat idea for people to see the background of where they were banded and shot.
