What a way to start with your first band...getting a double banded bird. I wish y'all could have seen him he was so excited he was speechless. I've got that hoodie to and its great. Well worth $40.
I bet man. I've been hunting waterfowl for 24 years and I've never got one, let alone seen one. I'm jealous and happy for him! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
thats awesome congratulations on the double band. Nj season has been super slow. I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow morning. Its been in the 20's the last 2 nights here and we finally have geese down here. Its a shame there calling for it to be in the 70's here for christmas eve . Really wacky weather here this year.
Had a fun weekend. My brother shot his first black duck! Hes been waterfowl hunting for 10+ years and never even seen one killed. They also went back out this morning (I thought long and hard about calling off work) and have a spec and pinny already. Crappy picture, and we wound up with a couple more And these punks today.
Went out this morning to a creek I have. Did a walk in jump shoot and shot my limit of mallards with just 3 shots! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We went out last night to this field and had a group of 6 come in before shooting time was over. Me and another guy dumped 1 each. We setup in the same spot this morning and had flights forgot about a hour. We were able to knock down 22 birds. It was a great hunt! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm so jealous of other states limits . Looks like that was a good time! It really doesn't get much better than field hunting honkers
Our season in WV is 5 per day all season long. The VA season in the early part is 10per a day then drops to 5 in the regular. And it goes to Feb 24th MD early season is 8per a day I think and you can shoot with a unplugged gun. Then drops to 5 a day and their season goes until mar 9th Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Killing me too! Illinois (my area at least) is sacking this year. Central zone is over. The area I hunt wasn't even worth wasting the gas to hunt this year. We had maybe two pushes of big ducks and they blew right through.
It was pretty awesome. Never hunted in the fog like that. You could here the birds all around but couldn't see them at all until they would get down low like 40 feet below fog. We have a video of the hunt. It's pretty cool watching it and all of a sudden seeing the geese appear in front of us. I thought the morning was going to be a bust. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Went out this morning for the first day of the late season split and managed to scratch out my first pintail! A hen, but a pintail nonetheless. Wish I could've killed the drake she was with but he managed to make it out alive. Back at it tomorrow.
Grats on the pintail! They are like a 180" whitetail around here during a waterfowl season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's awesome! Im really, really hoping this storm system is going to push a bunch of geese down. 8-12 inches of snow in Wisconsin....that's GOT to send them down, right????
My brother-in-law took me out for my first time goose hunting last Saturday,we got skunked but it was still fun.
