Potomac works for me. I have a couple spots there and I use my kayak for access. I could take a trip to Walkersville if needed to check things out.

Still haven't made it out. October 20th and haven't even shot at a goose yet! Usually by now I'm 30+. Kind of depressing!

This is my first full waterfowl season. We found an awesome swamp for ducks and our season is starting out great.

But, question - do any of your wives/girlfriends/sisters hunt waterfowl? I really enjoy it but do not have any waterfowl hunting clothing. I want to get some camo to blend in better. However, I cannot find anything my size. BassPro seemed to have a better selection than most places, but still didn't get what I need. Do you know any online place or other stores that carry womens waterfowl clothing? (I've tried Bass Pro, Field and Stream, Cabelas, ****'s and Gander). I seriously still think if I opened an all womens hunting clothing store I'd make a killing!!

My wife hunts with me quite often. 95% of the time in layouts so clothing doesn't matter. She wears brown carhartt bibs when it gets cold otherwise usually blue jeans or her bow hunting shirt and pants. Most camos, like max 4 , which is really popular is way too dark for cattails in my opinion. Duck blind is a good option as far as pattern. I would recommend getting something in person though although sounds like you've had a tough time with that. Unless all that was online shopping?

We checked all those stores out here at home and then on a vacation up to Maine. Just no luck! My husband is big into waterfowl and he checks the stores all the time for me as he works on the road - and cannot find much. Right now I use my trout fishing chest waders (brown) and wear an old waterproof hunting jacket. When we hunt the corn field I just sit in a couple rows of corn and it doesn't matter much as to what I wear. We'll be getting me a layout blind as soon as I find something I like - but until then kind of limited.

Bummer. Yeah I'm not much help in that category! I imagine it's a lot harder for companies to make one size fits all type clothing for women then it is men which explains the lack of options.

Yeah, definitely. That's why I think if I opened a women's only hunting clothing store - it'd be a great profit. You have various lines of clothing by female hunters - just not all in one place with an actual selection.

Starting to get pumped for Saturday. Geese and ducks are still in our field.

Cabelas did have Waders in duck print, but not my size. That's where my brown ones are from. But, a coat and/or pants couldn't be found.

Never heard of either of those, I'll go look
    At those links...thanks!

    Rogers Sporting Goods as well.

I shop there almost exclusively now because they're so much cheaper than anywhere else and usually free shipping.

Brown waders should be fine since you will likely be standing in water with waders. Camo waders shouldn't make that much of a difference
