Nice Dogfish! I cant wait for honker season. Sitting in a layout blind and hearing them honk is ALMOST on par with hearing a deer. Gets the blood pumping!

Sorry Im super late on this but I was unable to get anything set up for the early teal season this year. No exaggeration when I say I didn't feel like fighting off gators as well as water moccasins in our cypress break that early

Got out for the first time ever today. Didn't get a chance to shoot anything but I saw some ducks and geese and I really enjoyed the hunt. I'm going to try to get out this weekend in a new location.

Our season opened back up today and stays open now until December 4 for ducks and January 2 for geese.

Finished combining yesterday so between tillage, corn stalk bales and bowhunting, I should have lots of time the rest of the fall to finally goose hunt.

Good luck. What are your main species of ducks and geese you get there?

Got back from our annual ND trip Tuesday morning. Another great trip. Took my son and two nephews and they all had a blast. 182 ducks won't be making the migration south! Now we wait for seasons to open here....

The 4 of you shot 182? What kind of ducks? Any bands? How long were you there?

Great pictures grnhd!! Weve got a couple fields scouted out with about 200 geese in each and quite a few ducks as well. They were dumping into the field like crazy and all before 8:00 a.m. Sautrday's opener should be quick and fun if they hang around.

I put together a duck blind this past Saturday with pieces of wood laying around in the barn. It still needs a few finishing touches to brush it in a bit better before it goes out by the swamp. Im totally happy with it nonetheless, ready to fold a few birds :tu:

Two weeks in November for MD. Do you hunt PA? Their week season is in right now.

I used to live in my airy as a kid. I only have the Potomac to hunt besides what my truck driver buddy invites me to hunt. I can get access to a big quarry out in walkersville off of 15-North. Just too far for me to scout so I really Don't bother since it's only me.
