Nice! Good looking widgeon to. Love seeing those young guns out getting hooked on what we do.

We had a push of birds yesterday and got to work on a few groups of mallards. Had fun but it was so dang windy it was tough getting them to finish right. Windier today so I took it off. Not sure what I'll do tomorrow, might be a good migration day but they're calling for rain. I hate hunting in the rain! And I need to get back to work and try to make some money at some point to.LOL.

He had a blast this morning. It was definitely a good morning for him to the tag along.

You're not the only one who dislikes hunting in the rain. I stayed in a few days ago because of it. My wife told me I have to work a day or two extra the next few weeks to make up for all the gas ive been using:D

Dec 8th the season opens up for us again. Hoping the late waterfowl season is good. We Lost our best spot this year. Not sure how it's going to pan out. Hopefully better then my deer season (zero killed)

I had a few days to hunt over the break but didn't do much good. We mostly hunt dry corn or small holes. Most of the ponds around you can't hunt.
The birds simply weren't working for us. Hoping it picks up here in the next few weeks.

Had a good diver shoot yesterday morning by myself. Done in about an hour. All boy ducks as my daughter would say.

Heck of a bag we usually get our fair share of Cans and blue bills. I've never killed a Bufflehead though. We see them fly by from time to time. Always about a foot off the water and fast! I'm jealous as we are closed right now. A week from today though and it will be back on!

Our season opened up today. We did a evening goose hunt. Shot 14. If people could shoot better we would have limited. I dumped 5(limit)

Nice! What bird is that on? Our season doesn't open back up until Saturday morning. The good news is there is a few thousand greenheads sitting on our hole every day. Saturday should be a blast.

Opening day of duck season for us here in wv. 6 mallards 1 gadwall 2 honkers. Left at 7:30. Probably could have limited out if we stayed longer and shot better. Not a bad day for me and my father.

Nice start a Dogfish. My late season may have ended before it starts. At the hospital now with my wife. She's in labor with our first child. Season starts on Tuesday. Not a good combo haha.

Good job to everyone still shooting birds. Nice to see since our season is done and it was the worst I've ever experienced.
