haha that's awesome. After reading that you said your friend sends Kent calls, I immediately thought of Swamp Studs. Here's the Mallard call he gave me for Christmas. Kent's at the coast in BLET but his younger brother and I are going down to their lease in the morning (despite the miserable weather) and going try to get on the birds like we did the last day of the season last year. Not a single d*** bird. It rained the entire morning and the water level had to of risen a good 6" just while we were hunting. It was miserable to say the least. I bet we only saw a total of 20 but they were either way too high or too far. Owell, I guess the good hunts are what keeps us going back. We'll be at it again next season. We started the 14/15 season with limits. And today we finished with limits. 360 plus ducks and some awesome memories. I can't hardly wait till next year! Hope you guys that are still open finish up strong.
I'm pretty sure all of the US closes for ducks today. I didn't even hunt today. The hunting here has been so bad the past two weeks or so I couldn't make myself go. The hunting pressure around here was off the charts this year, I've never seen so many people hunting ducks. We've got ducks but they are so stale and afraid to move its sad. They just sit and move at night. All that aside its been a decent season here and throw in some out of state hunts makes it a lot better. Already planning next year. A trip to OK is in the works!!
Just let me know if you plan on making an OK trip. Im on the eastern part of the state. I'll take you out a get a greed topper or two

Duck season closed here on Saturday. I think VA closed today. Still have one more week of goose in wva and goose is still open in va.
In Indiana ducks are closed but some geese are still in some regions. I live in a county that borders Marion county (Indianapolis) so we have an extra season for nuisance geese. Basically we get to hunt geese til mid-feb.
Been getting them here and there. Saw a ton last weekend, going to give it a shot friday morning again.
Went out last weekend. Set up by 7:15 and were shot out with a 3 man limit by 8:15. Last day is Satuday so hopefully I'll make it out this weekend.
