I probably seen around 75+ ducks... scared up over 100 geese on my way in that were roosting over night.

Went out by myself today. Really cold out and wacked 4 green heads(limit) lots of ducks so I only targeted drakes.

Won't get back out until next Friday or saturday

Yesterday was the coldest hunt of the year for us. 15 degrees with a strong wind. We ended up filling our three limts.

My wife had so many clothes on she couldnt hardly walk. She had a blast though!

Depending on what part of the lake, about an hour and a half from me. I don't hunt there, that place is a zoo.

It was 5 yesterday when we left the house but we had a good hunt. Mallards, gadwall and one lost spoonie.

That's awesome man... We've had some of the coldest temps this year this past week.

    What all did you get?

I went out again this morning by myself. was going to give my lab a break but he was up at 5am ready to hunt. So we went and Shot another limit of mallards. Filling the freezer nicely. 3 drakes and a hen this time.

After 3 days of single digit temps and 13 retrieves later he is pooped ImageUploadedByTapatalk1420992352.706153.jpg

One of the mallards from yesterday. I don't know if you can tell it in this pic but this thing was huge.

    That's a big green topper!

We picked out a new family member last week. We should get him the second week of February.

Nice man. I have shot a few plump ones this year too. My freezer is getting nice and full this winter with duck.

Last night me and my daughter enjoyed some fresh medium rare mallard with asparagus and hollandaise sauce.

This season was looking rather bleak... With losing 1 of our top waterfowl spots. Years of our 4 man crew killing 140+ ducks.. 100+ geese.. We have surpassed out geese #s and approaching our duck #s.. Still have 2 weeks of duck season and 3 more of geese.
