Sorry to hear that Tony. I have just a few comforting thoughts from the scriptures that I find helpfull. 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 (look to God and Jesus for comfort) Ecclisiastes 9:5 (Your FIL is suffering no more) John 5:28-29 (God's promise of a resurrection) Revelation 21:3-4 (Death and pain will be no more)
I am so sorry for your loss Tony. Expected or not, it is never easy. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
So sorry to hear about your loss Tony, thoughts and prayers sent. I went thru the same thing with my grandpa, it sure was tough to see thats for sure, and ill never forget that day.
Condolenses my friend. A day in heaven is a thousand years on earth. A day will not go by that anyone is not missed.
Tony, I've seen it many times over, and it's never easy. But if your FIL was a man of faith, then you know you can rest easy in the thought that his suffering has ended and he is in the PARADISE we all hope to make it to. It won't be a difficult 4 days, it will be a difficult many years coping with the loss, and the void left behind. I'm glad to hear that your wife's family was able to HONOR his wishes and allow him to pass in a respectable manner as that is not always the case. You didn't "watch someone die," watches the cycle of life on earth end, and hopefully in HEAVEN begin. A prayer for you and your family in this difficult time. Celebrate the life he had, rather than mourn his passing!!!
I absolutely will be praying for your family. The choices they had to make are never easy but they have the assurance of knowing they honored his wishes. May the peace of God that passes all understanding rest in the midst of your family in the coming days. Blessings......Pastorjim Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
Prayers sent, Hopefully those in the Young family that aren't saved will see your faith and be drawn to Christ.
