I'm still after it Pastorandrew. Have seen a good amount of deer, just nothing I felt comfortable with shooting so far. I will most certainly be adding more points to the board eventually. 50 points at a time.
Sorry I have been offline, but I am still at it. Almost got a buck on Monday afternoon who was following a doe. It was raining so couldn't hear them coming. They came into my vision at 10yds out and spotted me in the tree. By the time they went behind a tree and I could move to get my bow and stand up, then draw, they were 40yds out with tons of branches in between. Pretty cool experience and the best buck I have seen from a stand this year. Hoping to get back out soon.
Well fellas, the year is coming to an end and although it has not gone quite how I had hoped, there is still a bit of time left here in Illinois. Anyone else still holding onto the last shred of hope to add some points to the board?
