We found our 1st set of sheds about a week ago. My dad looked back at sheds from previous years and found out that he found the left side 2 years ago, the buck has obviously been in the area for a while, but we have never seen him. I would love to get a crack at him with my bow this fall!! It is a 4-5 year old beautiful 8 pointer. We have also found quite a few 2 year old sheds in the last couple of days. anyone else found any in the snow yet? I was gonna post a picture, but not sure if possible or how to do it?

We have a shed forum Shelly for this kinda stuff.. post away in it anytime you find one. Or you could just do it here I suppose.

I've been out about 8 hours worth so far without a single find yet. Bummer!:bash:

I usually have a few by now.. but alas the only bucks I'm seeing are still sporting 2 sides here in northern Illinois.

As far as posting pics.. open a photobucket.com account and copy and paste the URL. It's easy and free and your pics will show here at bowhunting.com.

    Congrats on your finds.

    Word.

Thanks for the Welcome!! Yea we aren't going into the woods or anything to look for them yet, but kinda checking the fields a little bit. We have found a few more (those were only 1 and 2 year olds though). We have a lot of snow yet, and more coming, so we probably won't be really looking until spring. Thanks for the suggestions on posting pictures (i'm not very computer literate)

Saw a nice buck tonight that still had it's sheds on. Looks to score 150-160. Hope I can get a crack at him in the next week before season is out for the year. If not, he's going to be huge next year.
