There is property just across from my house where we used to rent ground for farming. I always hunted it but today there are new signs saying no hunting and no trespassing. Basically the owner gave the ground to his son who now is going to hunt it. It's actually not very good hunting but I could go real quick after school. It's not that I'm being pushed out its the fact of when. I scouted and trimmed trees and now it feels like all for nothing. Looks like I'll have to take down stands too and find a new spot for them. Months of preparation destroyed in a day. Feels great though maybe next year i'll have a new property south i might be able to hunt.

Gotta do what ya gotta do. Who knows maybe you'll find better ground else where.

In essence, you were trespassing. Unless you owned, leased or had permission to hunt there, you were trespassing. Knock on some doors and ask permission; you'd be surprised how often folks will let you hunt their property.

Well, maybe you still have permission. Maybe those signs where for everyone else. It's worth looking into.

Exactly what I was thinking! As a landowner I can double this sentiment. I have a couple friends that I give permission to turkey hunt since I rarely chase turkeys. I put out new signs a long time ago and one of them stopped hunting. I called and asked if he was going to turkey hunt tha tyear and he said he saw the new signs and thought they included him. I said well no...I would have called you and tols you in person if tha thad been the case..those signs are for everyone else.
