I just got an email from Wasp. They have put their Drone broadhead on sale for $24.99. That's for a 3 pack of heads and 2 sets of replacement blades.

Go to The Ultimate Broadhead | Wasp Archery and use the promo code: BEAR16

Just thought I would share for fellow Drone users or for anyone who was thinking of giving them a try.

Pretty cool video of Rage vs Muzzy vs Wasp vs 1/4" steel plate on that page.

A similar video on youtube by Antler Geeks where they stuck one into a concrete block was what prompted me to choose the Drone over my other two finalists.

However, I can serve witness to the fact that they are not indestructible. If you hit one from behind with a field point while broadhead tuning, it will knock the blades and tip off of inside the target.

I don't usually follow my hunting shots with a field point, well at least not on deer, elk or other big game.
