Not quite, maybe you didn't raise the bar, but it sure as hell was twisted.

The sight says America's Most SUCCESSFUL Bowhunter. The word Best is never used. And I dare you to find a bowhunter resume that stacks up to Chucks for NA, there ain't one (that I am aware of)...which directly constitutes success.

    He IS the most successful.

It doesn't nor has it ever said he is the best, which would be absurd and unmeasurable (hunting skill), but Hunting Success CAN be measured, and he is leaps and bounds ahead of everyone.

Is it bold or wrong to say Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was the most successful scorer in NBA? Um, NO. He has more career points than anyone, ever. Maybe he isn't the best (where pissing matches come into play), but undeniably the most successful.

What's success? Did Rage define it? :deer:  Shultzy was right, I should have known better. My problem isn't with recognizing Chuck as a hell of a bowhunter, it's with a statement with no factual basis.

    There is much factual basis.

And I am not a Chuck Adams idolizer, I have just read his book and articles about him. I have no reason to defend his reputation other than knowing that he indeed is out of this world succesful.

    Nope, Chuck Adams does. :d

I just find it hilarious some people find it offensive that a guy CAN be the most successful at something. I would agree if they said Americas best hunter, which like you said has no factual basis. Success IS based off of facts, somewhere around 130+ P&Y class critters I think, 5 world record critters, the FIRST to kill one of every species of big game on this continent.

I guess for some people, they should add an asterisk..

*success being total number of record book animals taking a permanent dirt nap due to said hunter, being the first man to kill one of each species....ever, or being one to hold 5 world record animals through history. If one doesn't agree, go practice:evil:

The most succesful bowhunter hunter in American is some unknown dude in Midwest/West, who hunts to hunt, and not to sell product.

I guess I could care less what Rage says about anyone or anything?

But for the guys who have a problem with it...I would be curious to hear some names of other hunters that you think Rage should be talking about instead of Chuck?

    Anyone?

Chuck is the MAN when it comes to a successful bowhunting career. But I wonder how many of his book kills was taken with a Rage broad head:confused: ?Not many I'll bet.

Did you start to drink Bud or drive Chevy because of Dale Jr.? It's their opinion of Chuck and his opinion of Rage... This seems like much ado about nothing. Snapple may not in fact be "the best stuff on earth"!

Good point...does he even say that he has ever used Rage broadheads? I say there is no way he would use them an the larger game he regularly hunts (elk, moose, bear, etc).

So, just because someone has attained several accomplishments, that makes him the greatest? Best?

I must be the greatest pisser in all the world. I have done it so many times and I almost always hit my target.

No one and I mean no one has ever accomplished Pujols 30+ per season homerun numbers in their first 9 seasons and he has more homeruns than strikeouts this season so I would have to disagree with A-Rod being the best.:deer:

But the statment was is it bold to say A-Rod's Americas best HR hitter which isn't about longevity. To me that statement implies for this season and not career numbers. Right now I would rather have Pujols at the plate over A-Rod period. But that's just my opinion. Not really trying to knock A-Rod I think he's a great player. Just saying. Sorry to highjack the Chuck Adams thread with baseball talk.

Ben, I read his book Life At Full Draw recently and I have a great respect for him to say the least...Most successful in world/ America maybe, he did complete the super slam before anyone else...but, a guy like Paul Schafer or Bart Schleyer (sp) very well could have been the most successful simply b/c of their choice of weapon...I know it's a can of worms, but yall know I don't give a rip.:deer:
