I am not in a huge hurry to get a puppy with the hunting season just starting but if any of you come across a chocolate or black lab puppy let me know. Definetly want to get one by spring! Thanks!
That would be fine. Just drop some food in the box before taping it shut! And probably need to punch a few air holes.
Fergus, I know a guy who breeds registered lab pups. We do some custom farm work for him. Call me if you want me to look into them for you. I could get one reserved for you.
Thanks for the offer Bols. I just might take you up on that! I will let you know. Peak- I am not sure why but we don't get the advertiser at the cottage. We used to and even have the old mailbox they put out just for the paper but I haven't seen one in years.
I am really torn right now with what I want to do. I definetly want to get one and I will. Just don't think I have the time to train a puppy till spring. I am so busy with hunting and soon ice fishing that I have no spare time right now. But come spring I will have tons of time to train. Then by next winter I will be able to have the dog out on the ice fishing with me!
Wait till spring fergus, there will be dogs availabe then and you will be there for the crucial months.
