want to start shed hunting for rattling

i have no clue when to start hiking around in northern illinois for sheds anyone have a clue what month i start in the area???

 

You can go out right now.

Look around at some of the threads on the board and you will see multiple folks in Illinois have found sheds already.

Unless you are really lucky, be prepared to put in a fair amount of time (and miles) to find a set.
