Wanting to get some new arrows at 500 grains give or take, since ill be keeping all my 100 grain broadheads need to make up the weight on the arrow.

Ive been advised my with my current arrows i shouldnt add anymore weight to the front so I'm exploring options of new arrows.

    30 inch 65lb draw
I think my current arrows are 29.5 inches long and around 440 gr

Im on a pretty tight budget so with that in mind lets hear some arrow building options

Beman Centershot arrow shafts might be just the ticket. They are a heavy shaft and add a brass insert at 50 or 75 grains and you will be right close to what you are looking for at a reasonable price.

Mine are 482gr, 340 spine fmj's, 100gr head, nocturnal nocks. I believe they're also 29.5". I'm headed tomorrow to get some 300 spine fmj's, adding a 50gr insert with a 100gr head. Should put me in the 550gr range I believe.

I'm at 510gr right now, I'm shooting 72lbs, but same length cut.
East Axis 300's with 50gr brass inserts.
As for the budget, you get what you pay for.

Black Eagle Renegades in 300 spine with 75 grain brass HIT insert up front. Should put you a tick over 500 grains if you're using a lighted nock.

    Got some easton axis 300s
They are going to have 50gr brass added rear wrap solid white
Should be in that 510 range.

The white wrap is a week out on order so they wont cut arrows etc until theyre in

Now im thinking should i just go with with 75gr brass inserts and get up into the 535 range ?

Why the wraps?? Lowers your FOC, cost $ & you need to place them every time you have a vane issue. Cut one vane......replace wrap and 3 vanes. Without a wrap I can replace just 1 vane.

Axis with 50 gr insert works great for me. 484gr with 100gr BH. Made in USA too.

Heavy arrow is great...but if one ignores their FOC getting there, they falling short...

I am only at around 470 total grains, and flirting if I remember with 15% FOC.

I do want to order a pack of the 650gr set up Alaskan Bowhunting does. Those tapered arrows are sweet and got a buddy shooting the set up and it is devastating.
