This year I got a Bow Bat to try out in the stand and it just seems like it is going to be too much of a hassle to use all the time. I like how it holds the bow nice and secure but the pocket layout and room bothers me, also not being able to use as a backpack on long walks suck. So the question is what kind of back pack do you use? I want something that is able to hold my bow and possibly rifle. I have been looking at badland packs but the cost is stopping me right now.

I got a good one on amazon. I like it. Packs out a whole deer if you cut it up in the field and bag it. Holds a bow or rifle. Inexpensive.

you definatley get what you pay for with badlands packs, looks like the badlands recon or the superday would be right up your alley. they both hold a bow and rifle and both are about 2000 cubic inches.

I have a buddy who has always sworn by badlands, he has a friend who gets him set up, but until I saw the beating it took last year I wouldn't have believed nothing went wrong... you most definitely get what you pay for with them and as soon as my current backpack dies ( end of season) I will be investing in a badlands back pack

Xtreme16 has one he likes. I forget what brand it is though. Might be worth a PM.

I just use NAP's sling. Works great for me.
