So today at work we got on the topic of bowhunting. Surprise surprise i know! Well long story short this guy starts talking up the arrows at wal-mart by carbon express. I didn't think that these would be good for 5 dollars a pop but what's you'r guys 2 cents? :deer:

Arrows may be an important aspect of your hunting set-up.... but when it comes down to "hunting accuracy"... if the bow is tuned properly and the hunter has decent skills... a Wal-Mart arrow is going to get the job done exactly the same as an Easton ACC.

I think the Walmart arrows are .006 straitness. I won't go more than .003 and prefer straiter, but I guess for the average guy shooting 20 yards using a helical fletch may not see the difference depending on his shooting skills.

Killed my first 5 deer with walmart arrows. I believe for the beginner they get the job done until they can hone there skills well enough that they stop losing arrows. Then they can step it up. I personally know they are junk compared to my current arrows but several years ago I couldnt tell the diffrence.

As long as the arrow is spined properly for the bow they should get the job done. I however do not use them.

    I hate walmart...oh wait that's a different thread.

So does Carbon Express make a cheaper arrow specifically for Walmart or are they less because they are buying more of them?

Yea stunt the way he explained it was that carbon express does make them specifically for them. I have tried finding them on all the popular bow stores, and they don't seem to exist anywhere. So i believe he was right, they are made only for walmart.

i found some arrows at wal-mart just marked a 29in they had no other markings but they were 3$ apiece so i got four just to try them out they didnt shoot half bad. They didnt shoot as tight as groups as my Beman ICS hunters but for just practicing i think they are fine. i would rather lose a 3$ arrow than my ICS hunters.
