Just got done watching it, didn't see that one coming. I don't think he's dead, he may be bitten, but I think he kills a walker and smears himself down in blood and guts while they are feasting on Nicholas. He may have gotten bit, maybe not but I think he survives the hoard and makes it back. This one seemed to focus on getting back to a wife, Glen and David, but as Rick said, "they ain't like us, some of them will not make it". By smearing himself, how many times has the group done that now(?), he doesn't have to make it far. To a window or door, or something to climb. There was a fence on the side with bushes on the other side and buildings to the other.
Then again, other than Beth, when is the last time a major cast member was offed? Probably Herschel, so it is due
I always liked Glen but his character has gotten boring lately, if they off him then so be it. The show needs shook up a bit every so often. That said I wouldn't be surprised if he made it out, they left it a little to ambiguous with those circumstances like they were setting it up to give him a shot at getting out. Had they actually shown a shot of him getting blatantly eaten then that would have been something different entirely.
Yeah, not showing him in the memoriam on talking dead, not having him as a guest and the producers note about seeing more of him is a certainty. They are setting up for something epic or they are setting themselves up for an epic fail. Following this one up with an hour and a half episode next week and "special guest" on talking dead, I think it gets answered sooner rather than later. I just can't see them offin a main character like this, then again, I thought the Tyrese offing was terrible as well, not that he deserved much but thought the hallucination sequence was corny.
It's horrible, always liked that Glen, but you said...there is no way he gets out of that alive....too many dead all around him. He went down fighting tho. Guess that'll be it for me for TWD, especially, as much as I hate to say, but if Glen survives they've gone too far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't think he's dead. I think all the blood and guts was Nicholas'. I think he'll either be saved by someone or he'll either hide under one of the dead walkers they shot or he'll cover himself in their filth again. They need to advance the show more, although there's a lot of action, they have literally accomplished nothing this season.
They had to show some excitement and have a cliff hanger. Someone regular is due to be killed off though, remember the jail cell days, people were dying left and right.

Yeah I'm on the spoiler bandwagon thinking he's just under his body and will slip under the dumpster. Not sure how he's not gonna get bit though!!
I wonder how long that episode actually took place in terms of timeline of the show. I assume it was at least a few weeks or months? Definitely very different, they wouldn't go through that much trouble of showing his transformation if it wasn't important to the storyline.
Sure a lot of people didn't want to see his story shown right after the Glenn teaser. I actually was a fan of this episode. Showed a lot about his transformation and how the Wolves will be a group that consists of the psycho killers with minds that can never be changed.
I liked it okay as well. I always wondered how he went from guano crazy to the current zen jedi Morgan. Now we know. I apparently did not learn the lesson very well because I don't think the wolf he was talking to will ever be redeemable like Morgan was.
I didn't mind it, sometimes the change of pace is nice, but it kind of leaves us on a cliffhanger for the Alexandria situation. Next week Maggie will definitely go looking for Glenn. What's interesting is that the actor who plays Glenn was removed from the opening credits, so I'm not sure if they're taking it that far as to fool fans or if he is truly dead. Should be interesting to see how that pans out.
I don't think they've ever actually done that before which makes me think it's a little over reach trying to convince people that he's dead when he's not. I don't know, we'll find out eventually I guess.
