    I've got the muffs, quad something I think they are. I use the mfor handgun hunting because otherwise I'd blow my ears out. THey are nice, I struggle to tell direction in them, but otherwise no issues.

    I'm looking at the same thing. I have talked to people that have them and they say although one is great, in order to really be able to determine the direction the sound is coming from, you definitely need two. I tried a Radians Prowlear from Cableas and I thought it did a decent job for way less money. I'm going to give these a go first.
