I stopped on my way home to check the water level at one of my spots. There were carp cruising and splashing everywhere. The water was too shallow to launch my boat so I went home and got my bow and waders. The water was like chocolate milk making the fish hard to see. I could see their wakes and swirls but couldn't tell where to shoot. I did manage to get 3 on land, had 3 pull off, one being a 3+ foot grassie.. Gonna see if the water rose enough to launch my boat today, if it ever stops raining.
