We all know Vermont would be about the last state you would choose to try and shooter a big, mature buck in but look at this toad of a buck I just got on camera. This is on my farm in Windsor County, Vermont. Have him three times in seven days, this is the best quality video I got. Very cautious buck. Wonder what he would score!!
In Vermont that may as well be a unicorn! Stud buck! I say 135-138" I have family property in Vermont...Never hunted it (cuz I can hunt in Iowa lol).
I couldn't imagine seeing a buck of this caliber in VT. if I had Iowa property you would never see me in the Northeast either! Hah. what part of the state do you have land in?
Near a town called Jamaica...I wish it was further North...maybe then I'd have a shot at getting a moose on camera.
that's about 40 miles south of where I reside. my family has pulled a few moose out of the northeast kingdom of Vermont around the town of Averill over the last few years. they fill a couple moose tags a year in our WMU but mainly those tags are all filled up north, and the tags are few and far between. Id love to get a moose on camera.
