It means ******bag: See the following definition from the urban dictionary. Sums Joe B up pretty well. The term "******bag" generally refers to a male with a certain combination of obnoxious characteristics related to attitude, social ineptitude, public behavior, or outward presentation. Though the common ******bag thinks he is accepted by the people around him, most of his peers dislike him. He has an inflated sense of self-worth, compounded by a lack of social grace and self-awareness. He behaves inappropriately in public, yet is completely ignorant to how pathetic he appears to others. He often talks about how cool, successful, and popular he is, yet never catches on to the fact that he comes across as a total loser. Nevertheless, he firmly believes that he is the smartest, most desirable, and most charming person in the room... and will try to bad-rep anyone who would threaten to expose this facade. He fancies himself a ladies’ man, yet tends to be a joke to all but the most naive of women. He tries to portray himself as part of the in-crowd (a fashionista, an upwardly mobile professional, the life of the party, etc.) but only succeeds in his own mind. To everyone else, he is an annoying and arrogant phony who comes across as a wannabe overcompensating for his insecurities. He tries to appear like the center of whatever group will tolerate him, but in reality, he is just a tag-along who mooches drinks, women, contacts, social standing, and other benefits from the group... while contributing nothing.
Anyone else catch Biden complaining that Ryan got 40 seconds and he only got 15 but went ahead and rattled on.
Im sure you find a "jackass the movie" marathons stimulating, yet others set their goals a bit higher when entertaing guests.
No jesting. The look on Ryan's face was irritated smugness to me. Either that or clueless-ness. Pick your poison. http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/a...eigh-in/1350050988_joe-biden-paul-ryan-lg.jpg
Seemed to me, as irritating as Biden is, he was trying to be polite to the old career politician and stay on topic. Biden, never having a real job in his life, is so full of himself he actually believes his own BS.
He was born in 1942. He got his law degree and became an attorney in 1969. Took him until age 27. He was a mediocre law student by his own admission. He started in law in 1970 and became a senator in 1972. So, which of the two years of work was supposed to surprise us? No wonder he turned to public service. The guy was getting plum worn out! What a bunch of malarkey!
He's was a Senator for 36 years before becoming VP. He one's of the one's to blame for the mess we're in now. All the unions, federal jobs and big pensions he helped create to get himself re-elected every time is what's coming home to roast now. These guys never want to get real jobs.
Biden did manual labor in his late teens to help his parents afford tuition to his school. You're right, he only practiced law for a couple years before opening his own practice in 1970. He went to a prep school (junior college) thus being the reason it took him until 27. He was a mediocre student, that's true. Obama, however, was a model student, and yet I'm sure that few opponents give him credit for that. Compare that to Ryan: Oh wait, he worked at McDonald's during high school.. who hasn't. Has a BA, Impressive! (I was a double major too), and has never had a job outside of politics.
Who hasn't worked at McDonalds? Well, Obama and Biden for starters. Big deal? Not to me. I never made any claims as to Ryan's suitability for the job so I will not speak to that. But, I wasnt speaking out in support of him either. I am not a fan of anyone that has made a career out of politics. Seems like a questionable way to make a living if you ask me. Term limits is my mantra.
I agree. Lifetime retirement after a couple terms shouldn't be there either. In this we whole-heartedly agree. Again, Biden did manual labor around his school to help pay tuition around the time Ryan was flipping burgers. I've done both, I'd rather flip burgers. Obama: Worked as a community organizer prior to entering law school. I think he has some admirable accomplishments during that time. To me, that outweighs McDonald's and writing speeches. Romney: made millions in the private sector bankrupting companies, destroying jobs, outsourcing, and even made a few companies successful. He also left the Governor's house with dismal approval ratings in the 30%'s. Taking this country back to Bush principles is the last thing we need. It's what got us into this mess. I won't mention who said it, but someone said something that really rung true to me. Republicans say that Democrats have to stop blaming Bush, and to move on, but it's like the black plague being blamed on the rats. Even though you might be tired of hearing the rats caused it, it doesn't make it any less true.
I wouldnt hang my hat on the fact that he was chasing girls, partying, and pulling a few weeds in the school garden for a few years. Not exactly the type of experience that teaches anything about balance sheets, economics, or decision making. I think we can nearly all agree on term limits and the elimination of golden parachutes. Too bad the ones that benefit from them are the only ones that get to make the decisions.
You can blame Bush all you want but the fact of the matter, the economy wasn't entirely his fault. Skyrocketing oil prices(and no, he had no control over it) combined with bad housing loans were the biggest reasons for the crash. Even with that, unemployment never got as bad under him than it is right now. Dems act like it was almost as bad as the great depression . That laughable. Unemployment over 20% is no where the same as 7% Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
Bush had the worst job growth of any president and that is not even counting 2008 bleeding we took. He came into office with a surplus and had deficits every year of his term. He started Iraq war on a lie, he grew government with more socialist programs like no child left behind, he expanded Medicare. He cut taxes and increased spending, Bush was the worst president we have ever had. Obama will take over the honor when he's done. This mess we are in lies at bushes feet, the next president will have to clean up Obama's mess. Bush has a lot of blame for where we are at.
Calling ryan wise is a stretch to the point of breaking. Sent from my Galaxy S IIII using Tapatalk 2.
