I agree. This was, to me, one of the few key moments in an otherwise pointless debate. The lack of specific tax plan being put forth beyond cutting 20% across the board and eliminating loopholes (i.e. possible deductions?), we don't ever hear anything too specific. The laughing by Biden was annoying, but you could make the argument that Romney's constant interrupting last week was just as rude. I just don't feel that there was anything of real substance in this debate. The moderator was even worse than the first one (I'm not even sure that it was possible), and the topics were drug out into the same old talking points with false claims and accusations again. I don't think Ryan came out with the performance he could have, but then again, I HOPE nobody is making voting decisions based off of a VP debate. That's like buying a bow based off a recommendation from Vito
Didn't watch, but I think we're likely screwed either way.... I just think one is the LESSER of two evils.... Just seeing Biden's body language in some of the pictures, and having seen him in action in the past leaves me no doubt that he was, as usual, an arrogant *** though. Four years later, we're not a whole hell of a lot better off, and we've only dug the HOLE deeper for the next Generations to have to find a way out of.
My wife is a democrat and she said Biden was a bully. She said she thought she liked him before but now she thinks he's a DB.

I thought they both sucked. Biden was definitely more confident and well spoken, but just came off as an ***. Ryan kept going to story time, which was really freaking annoying. Ryan did not impress me at all.
I flipped back and forth between the Titans game and the VP debate, spending more time with the game. The debate was largely annoying in my opinion because it seemed neither really answered the questions. Also I did feel Biden came across as arrogant and condescending. As for the moderator, she seemed pretty one-sided to me.
I also love how they chose to end on abortion, which is a huge topic for independents (especially women), in which they usually side with the democrats. I usually don't like to take say things were biased towards something or the other, but I felt the topics were really catered towards Biden, being they spent a lot of time of foreign policy, and then the ending topic of abortion, which I really don't think is a big ticket topic at this point in time.
The one not giggling and smirking with every statement by the opponent (while interrupting said opponent 82 times) was the smug one? Surely you jest? I feel as though Biden had just as many good points as Ryan and they had a pretty even debate (I'd give the edge to Biden) but the moderator participating in the debating and Bidens childish mannerisms swings the debate slightly the other way IMO. too close to call a victory for either side really.
Agreed. I read a couple articles last night praising her for asking good questions. I think people confuse moderators and interviewers. Totally different roles and she was more of an interviewer. Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
I thought both debates were like that. They even help them answer or set up the questions. The gag is up and they know that we know their leftist so they don't even try to hide it anymore. I though Ryan held his own with style and showed he's future presidential material. Biden just acts like a used cars salesman with a mail order law degree. Thought they to much make up on him though. Kind of vampire looking. IMO
Given a real choice the gentleman would have politely excused himself from the table and left the egotistically arrogant, typically narcissistic and inexcusably rude Joe Bidden to smugly point out the great mess this country is in and his parties inability to solve even the most basic of economic issues facing our country. It was the actions of a desprate man. If you had a chance for you and your wife to spend an evening dinning with either Bidden or Ryan whom would get the nod?
Honestly, just judging from the debate, Biden. Ryan came off as quite boring. I think Biden would be quite fun after a few drinks.
Knowing nothing of debates or what makes one a win or loss I felt Biden was very rude and almost angry at some points all the while rollin his eyes and acting like a teenage girl. On the other hand I didn't feel Ryan answered the questions with specific answers. He may not know the answers I don't know. I also felt the moderator was very one sided almost like watching a horribly reffed game that is obviously one sided. I liked that Ryan held his composure and had a great closing speech. He looked right into the the camera into America's eyes and spoke his peace. The next Presidential debate I fear Obama will take Biden's approach and be very rude and attacking. I hate how they dwell on the middle class just because that is the majority of voters and I am middle class or possibly lower class. I want to know how they will help all America there by helping all Americans.
