My taxi has my antelope from earlier this fall mounted and drying on the wall. I am doing a pedestal mount with him so it doesn't look the best on the wall, plus it hasn't been painted yet either. I play around with taxidermy myself some, but I wanted a professional to do this one for me.
Looking good! I don't know a lot about pedestal mounts, but do they normally turn and look back that far? Just wondering, I think it looks good.
This is a pretty hard turn, but I just told my taxi to do something different. He has a master plan that I don't know all the details of yet. He keeps telling me it will look awesome. He does great work so I trust him.
Yep, he's looking good. I was surprised when we went and looked at yours that he was that far along... and then when I went to visit my taxi last week, he had my cape back from the tannery and ready to slip on its form. Said he would have had it finished but the onslaught of deer has already started coming in. Very possible by Thanksgiving though, he said.
