Thought I would share some pics to keep my fellow shedaholics going in this off season. Got a call from our taxidermist last week telling me I had to come check out a new bow buck he had just got in. While exchanging season updates I look over and see these studs laying on a table. So I immediately start asking questions. These were found this summer by a non-hunter while walking his dog. He didn't even know what he had until a friend saw them. They were brought to the taxidermist to have our local shed collector make a skull plate for them - even though he was advised that this was not a good idea. Anyways I wish they were mine but I know a new spot I will be knocking on doors this spring! Enjoy!

holy crap, that is a hog! If that wouldn't get your heart pumping, then I don't know what would! Those antlers seem pretty healthy to me, that deer is going to be an absolute bohemoth!!!

Yeah and the real kicker was they were just over the fence from public ground!! I called a friend that is hunting a special draw area right across the road that holds most of the big boys in the area and told him you have to go see these things!

That wouldn't happen to be Ron Ridley's taxidermy shop would it?

Actually I didn't even notice those until you mentioned it lol. I noticed his corner display with the full body deer and the bobcat. I love that place, every time I go in there I end up talking for an hour at least.

Yeah you know you have a shed addiction when you are standing in a room full of very impressive KS shoulder mounts but you just can't stop checking out a pair of sheds. They are definately a sweet set.
