    A few weeks going to a mon to fri, 7a to 3p. Would love 4 10 hr shifts but I'll take this! 7.5 yrs on mids is beating me down.

    Well hopefully you getting on a consistent schedule will coincide with getting you healthy. I know when my wife was on a on and off night schedule, then back to day the next scheduled, it messed with her. Could never get the sleep needed because you never get time to adjust.

    been there before, it was do able when the kids were younger, so i could see them, but it did take a toll on my body

    People always threaten us with longer shifts. I told em I dont care. I'll work 2 16s and then an 8 and have 4 days off. And if you want, I'll work 2, 20 hr shifts with 8 hrs sleep between. Bring it. Lol

    I'm the same. I'd work 3 straight 12s with no OT if that'd get me 4 straight days off.
