Personally I don't see Teddy starting a game this year. It's going to take a long time before he trusts his knee again, he's going to be scared to death to take a hit - I suppose you can't blame him because of how brutal his injury was. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm hoping the emergence/growth of Thielen & Diggs will make Bridgewater a better qb. They've made Keenum look serviceable so maybe there is a shot Bridgewater can have success. We went 11-5 with basically the same team the last time he played. Passes less than 10 yards every play is fine by me as long as he wins games. Our defense wins us games... Qb doesn't have to be Rodgers good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nothing is delusional about my post as it was purely skepticism and there was no cheap shot. No one said he was a top "25%" QB. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Look at the teams that are very good and make it to the playoffs every year even with good defenses, they all have a very good QB. Sure the suck ass ones can get lucky and get their team to the playoffs but if you want to go every year...Bridgewater won't do. Unless your willing to WASTE one of the best defenses in the game today.
Is Dig's groin a chronic problem? Last season second half his production was halved after a groin injury this season missing two games and will he be half the player he was again? Teddy two gloves is going to play will be come back from injury a better QB than before? Will Cleveland win at Wembley seems weird things happen to teams when they play there?
I don't think he was that great to begin with so I hope so. Hope they stick with Keenum for a few weeks and see if he really can get us some W's.
I am worried about Diggs and his injuries. The guy is not the same player when he is listed with an injury. He has drastic splits when playing through an injury vs not having an injury (something I found researching fantasy football): When listed on the injury report last year (5 games) he averaged 3.8 receptions and 34.8 yards per game. When not on the injury report he averaged 8.1 receptions and 91.1 yards per game. So yeah... I'm concerned.
i say keep keenum in there now, putting teddy in will be like having a new qb having to relearn plays and such
They will play him though, the QB situation is not as tentative as it was going into the decision the vikings were going to have to decide what to do with Teddy or Sam. I think the Sam situation is a done deal with the vikings they will not resign him. I think they do want to see Teddy in a couple of games to see what he has got. I would guess the vikings will draft a QB. I do not see the Wilfs getting the checkbook out for Cousins.
I hope you're wrong on that last line... But we all know the Vikings. No matter what happens, the Vikings will end up screwing something up horribly bad and ruin our future. It's a proven fact of life.
If they put Teddy in they deserve to lose the division and their jobs. Any fan that wants him in after that injury and not playing in a game for almost 2 years is an IDIOT!!!
Zim has a bond with Teddy like he is his son, Zim is also prone to doing things that seem the opposite of a good coach. (not ripping but his clock management sucks) I would guess Zim will put Teddy in a game when Kase is playing like Kase pull him and the QB controversy will be on.
Wasn't pretty but a win is a win. Forbath put the team on his back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
