I'm actually a very positive guy... But history suggests this entire thing is a fluke. Superbowl 4 Superbowl 8 Superbowl 9 Superbowl 11 Divisional round 1975 hail mary 1987 NFC Championship Game (Broken Pass) 1998 NFC Championship Game (Missed FG) 1999 NFC Divisional Round (49-37) 2001 NFC Championship Game (Blown Out) Knocked Out of Playoff Berth by Josh McCown (4th and 24) 2004 NFC Divisional Championship game 2009 NFC Championship Game 2015 Wild Card Game (Missed 27 yr FG) We do beat the Eagles this week though.
I am hopeful but will not be devastated if they lose. When you have been a fan as long as I have, you ALWAYS prepare for the loss. Hopefully, the Vikes coaching staff has had a word with young Mr. Diggs about showboating before crossing the goal line!
Thats a long list of heartbreaks. Would you rather the vikings lose to the eagles sunday. Or make it to the super bowl and lose and have the patriots celebrate on your home field in front of all the vikings fans. Also the stadium doors are locked so they all have to stay there and watch it and take it in.
Personally having played sports, I would rather lose to the champion than the first, second, or third loser-regardless of where the game is played.
I had ESPN on in the background while I was trying to get some work done. It was still on because I could't reach the remote. I can not stand Stephan a Smith but today he actually said something I agree with. His take on the NFC championship game is spot on.
Such a tough question... It has to be losing in the Super Bowl. Simply because no team has ever played in their stadium and it would be a cool first thing to see. I also haven't had a chance to see the Vikings in a Super Bowl and that would be awesome. Losing in the Super Bowl would add a whole new level of heartbreak for me.
Jake you are all over the place. You go from SUPER FAN to wishy washy between this thread and the Packer thread. No wonder Sota gives you so much **** you set it up on a tee for him
I hear ya. My super fan comes out when I'm trying to troll Sota hard. I am a super fan but I do have tempered expectations for Sunday. I don't want to get cocky because of our history. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not sure why the vikings practiced inside all week, granted the practice field is shot but what better prep for the crappy field in Philly?
Wondered the same thing. This week has been basically the same weather they will be playing in on Sunday. The field would likely be about the same too based on phillys first week. Maybe injury risk? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
