I'd be the same way if it were the Bills winning and the Patriots weren't in, so I guess I have no room to talk! LOL!!
Right, any guy would but a packer fan talking about no calls and hail Mary's is laughable at best! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
As a life long Saints fan I was/am disgusted. That was the hardest game to watch, terrible playing by the Saints and terrible officiating. While my kids were celebrating after the field goal with 25 seconds left I had a bad feeling they would give the game away.
I want to know how loud it got on that final play. It was deafening. You couldn't even hear the fireworks going off.
Sota, I read threads just to see your responses. The term curmudgeon comes to mind more than Grinch. I some how picture in my mind the same way I pictured Rancid Crabtree when reading Patrick McManus books (not the Rancid Crabtree formerly associated with the forum). I hope I someday have the pleasure to meet you.
I don't get the miracle talk, it was blown coverage and piss poor form tackling. Don't take me wrong I am not ripping or mocking or minimizing.
I think it's being considered a miracle simply because we won, not because of that play. At least that's what I've thought when I heard it.
Perhaps it's being described as a miracle as it's the first playoff game in NFL history to end on a game-winning touchdown the final play of the forth quarter and it also went for 61 yards? When ex football players on NFL Network and ESPN are saying they could feel chills down their spine watching the play unfold, you are probably witnessing something that rarely ever happens.
About twenty of us were just getting off work and someone had the game on....none of us are Vikings fan but we all erupted in a loud cheer as he went the distance to win the game. It was incredible.
I'm actually more of a Steeler's fan and they played like crap yesterday. But, it was fun to see that crazy ending of the 2nd game for probably anyone other than Saint's fans. :-)
"The past eight NFC/AFC title games have all been won by the home team. Just as important: Consider that the Vikings have won only three road playoff games in the 35 years since they moved into an indoor home stadium in 1982. Every team is different, of course, but a clear trend over that long of a timeframe -- three victories in 15 total road playoff games -- is revealing." Crap. Another miracle please?
The pats would soundly beat the eagles and vikings but, the jags are a bad matchup for the pats. I think the pats will win but it's not going to be the cake walk most think it will be.
I agree. It’s going to be a close game, no cake walk. Jags aren’t afraid to walk in to an opposing team stadium and win. The Patriots and jags practiced together for a week during preseason before their pre season game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
