Well when you are there to gloat when the Vikes are eliminated, I'll be there to remind you that we thumped the packers twice this year - I'll then remind you that our fans even went to lambeau during Christmas and took over your stadium and made her our b**tch. It was hilarious watching the packer fans trying to chant "go pack go" to try to drown out the skoal chant, then fail miserably. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
And I will point out that the Packers have 60 wins over the vikings, the vikings have 53 wins in the history of the series, so you won this years battle but are still trailing in the war, even if you could maintain a season sweep it will take 3.5 seasons to tie the series.
With the terrible management, coaches, and players that Green Bay has today we should be able to tie it rather quickly.
One year of a decent football team and listen to these guys, WOW now there all experts ! After success for 10 to 20 years in a row then talk tough, Until then why not act like you've been there before, A little grace and humility, reminds me of a Cleveland Brown receiver finally making a td then putting on a stupid celebration for 5 minutes
I guess if we are bringing up the past.... "For about a quarter century after Lombardi's departure the Packers had relatively little on-field success. In the 24 seasons from 1968 to 1991, they had only five seasons with a winning record, one being the shortened 1982 strike season. They appeared in the playoffs twice, with a 1–2 record."
Yes mnhunter you are correct those were pretty bad years, But the seats were filled and you didn't see any smart &^&^ss talk coming from players or fans !! still were a class act
how many superbowls have the packers won when there were 32 teams? I'm honestly curious, i could look it up but i'm too lazy
I really hope that when people read through this thread they realize that most of the time I'm simply trolling a "touchy" subject. I also hope they realize the Vikings will be the team to beat in the NFC North for the foreseeable future.
Viking trivia, the vikings have appeared in 4 superbowls in those four games the vikings have not scored a single point in the first half.
Vikings trivia, the Vikings have more division titles than the Packers post merger (yes I know about the Super Bowls). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My favorite championship was the last one as a wild card, got to watch more games and more home team's dreams dashed, but that is just me.
Easy to say with nothing but a history of losses on the big stage, whats it going to be finally glory or 5 time losers with the home stadium tainted?
