I couldn't agree with this more. I can't imagine what those fans are thinking when those catches get reviewed and reversed.
I can see why it is confusing for you and others because as you did, you lumped three calls, when only one of them is about Catch/Non-catch going to the ground ruling. Both the Jets and Tate's were ruled catches. but then had something else happen, Fumble and a down by contact.
My whole point is in regards to what is a Catch/Non-Catch AND what happens after the catch is made. The VP of officiating defended each of the calls I listed as being incorrectly called after replay. I'm not sure what you saw/know that he doesn't, but I listed those specific plays because the VP defended them, not because I have a strong opinion on them.
I'd have no problem getting rid of replay all together and letting the officials on the field make the calls, while they may not get them all correct, while their may be less incorrect calls, I can't say the game is better to watch because of it. Probably the opposite. But the idea if having replay is to get the calls correct and by the rules they got all three of those correct.
Oh what sweet irony it would be if thru wins and losses the vikings path to the super bowl goes thru the super dome.
Packer logic we only lost because our GM is an idiot and Dom Capers sucks... When in reality the entire team outside of Rodgers is just plain bad.
He means that the Vikings could be on the road during the playoffs were their w/l record to drop them down in the seedings.
packers players suck so bad, yet Vikings can't help themselves from scooping them up once we have no more use for them.
Oh dear god Trader Rick and I can't manage the clock and replays Zim. How many years has it been since the vikings have scored a post season touch down?
Pretty sure those players have all disappeared, tells us what we need to know about the Vikings Staff.
