No there is nothing purple in my house I hate the color purple.

 

I love this, cheeseheads claim they have the best fan base in the NFL and claim they would never talk bad about their team; I work with 2 cheeseheads that refuse to watch them on sundays anymore since their beloved rodgers is out

 

Yeah there are no fair weather viking fans either. Plus if you don't have NFL network it is near impossible to watch the Packers play in Minnesota due to network regional airing of games.

 

Get a better antenna! Oh, and put it on a tower, say 200 feet tall. And a signal booster. That might get you a picture.

 

Vikings continue to prove they can handle both sides of the ball......not a fan but they are truly showing they could be the NFC's most balanced team.

 

I get it KLBB 1220 am, I am a busy guy I rarely have time to sit and watch a whole game especially with the winter is coming crunch.

Yep last hunt of the year for me will be in a tree at 3 rain or shine.

 

I think we'll be on the edge here. Planning to take down a couple hang ons after work if it's not raining. Don't really care to do that when it's 15° and 30mph winds like the extended forecast is looking like.

 

thats true, every vikings fan is optimistic and never speaks ill of them

 

I am a Minnesota sports fan with the exception of the vikings so I do feel your pain.

 

I am happy for you Vikings fans, After almost 100 years without a real team you deserve to be rewarded !

 

Actually the Packers are closer to 100 at 98 years the vikings have only been around 56 years.

 

Perfect description of us Vikings/Minnesota sports fans.

I am an NFL historian, when you team has a long successful history you respect the past, when your team does not have a rich history of success those people seem to dismiss the past.

 

I am not making sport of the vikings but the local twin cities media especially the Pioneer press keeps doing stories about the viking home Super Bowl game. They are either jinxing the team or hoping to get bridge jumpers if they do not win it all. It will be no home game if the vikings do make it, no home locker room, none of the usual viking stuff at the game the stupid horn and skoal chant over the PA not allowed, it will not feel like the typical home game. I have a coworker that plans on going to the stadium to tailgate at a game he is not going to if the vikings make it, what a rube.

 

I cringe every single time this is mentioned. Granted we are doing good... SO much has to happen for us to make it there. It's way too early for that talk.
