Agreed but unfortunately there is no one else out there to replace him with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Quoting myself from a couple weeks ago - was I wrong? I'm starting to wonder if it's possible that what we are seeing now is actually the real case Keenum? Minnesota has five games to figure it out but should they be thinking about a long-term contract? The problem the Vikings has now is that a lot of quarterback needy teams are going to be willing to spend a lot of money for him in the off-season Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes they should be thinking long term with Case. He can throw down field better than Teddy ever could. He played on ****TY teams in the past. He put up huge numbers in college. The kicker sucks but like you said there isn't anyone out there. I am not a die hard Vikings fan...the refs were a JOKE!
I'm going to put this out there. I think Keenum has a better feel for the offense than Teddy. He definitely can throw better. Teddy is/was better on his feet. Will that be the same after the injury? He needs playing time to know. Tough call for the Vikes.
There is absolutely no reason they should even be considering Teddy right now. He wasn't even that good before he got hurt in my opinion. Case keeps proving himself each week and until something drastically changes he's earned the spot 100%. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I'm not talking about playing this year. It's Keenum's job. What about next year? I don't know what his contract is worth or for how long. If it ends this year, it's a tough call financially. Trade bait? Teddy will be worth next to noting. Same for Bradford. I like the job Keenum has done but as a long time fan. I remember a guy named Cunningham. Remember how that went?
Oh gotcha. My bad, thought you were talking about this year still. Yeah I don't know any of their contracts so I cant speak for that I guess.
Vikes had what 20 penalties in the 3rd quarter? I think they had averaged 8 per game. Some of those completion calls for the Lions were overturned calls in other games this weekend.
13 accepted penalties in the first half, I believe that kills ratings more than any protest. It is one of those things that once you notice all the penalties called it annoys you even more when there a crap load of penalties are called.
In completely unrelated news.....I predict Eli to Jacksonville will happen. Love to see him see success before he retires. I predicted when he entered the league that he would win more SBs than Peyton....Denver dragging Peyton through the last one made them tied, not a fan of not being right. LOL
I still think you could argue that Peyton was the greatest QB ever. He does not have the rings as some but he wasn't just the QB, he was the offensive coordinator too. Look what happened to the Colts when he left. He made players look better than they ever were. The defense always had a lead and could pin their ears back.
100% can hear the validity of GOAT for him albeit one I will never agree with. He was a rare specimen though at QB for his thinking process....unmatched many could argue with validity.
