I have been accused of being somewhat biased against the Minnesota vikings in the past. I aim to change that perception by starting a topic to discuss current events with the vikings 2017 schedule and the quest to be the first home team super bowl team.
First, Blair Walsh taunting the vikings in a preseason game and nobody hit him on his next field goal attempt or on a kick off? Come on Zim they compromised his awesome preseason record by taking a loss on the road.
Following the Vikings is like following my public land hunt in CT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The viking franchise is a factory of sadness and disappointment. I honestly feel bad for the fans I have relatives young kids who get their heart broken every year.
Yeah that sucks. I remember being a patriots fan as a kid when they were the laughing stock of the NFL. It was tough. 2-14. No kids in school were patriots fans. Except for me of course! They all liked the giants or cowboys or 49'ers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thing is that the franchise rarely sucks at the 2-14 level, they often flirt with being a serviceable team but ultimately fail each season.
The Vikes have just enough spark most years to get people's hopes up. You know, "Build them up so you can break th..." Wait, thats not how it goes?
I do want to see the Vikes win because my son loves them but at least he likes the Patriots too because I like them so at least he has that.
The result in the 3rd preseason game never matters, what happens in the first half matters. Don't take what I said as being anti viking check out the comments at the Pioneer press and Star Tribune, the vikings own fans are already savaging them.
And I don't disagree; it was terrible. I hate preseason football anyhow. I think there should be two games max for preseason.
