As some may know my brother and I are getting back into filming some hunts after taking a few years off. We are buying a lot of new equipment and I was just curious what all you guys on here are using. So if you guys could post some pics of your set ups and include the the price it would be awesome. So far we are working with a Canon hf m30, and A go pro hero.

Ill be running my Canon HF R30 on a 3rd arm bandit camera arm for my main camera, then i have a kodak playsport and a bowfinger 2.0 mount for a 2nd on my bow. Im looking at adding a shotgun mic to my camera before the fall i just havent decided what one yet. Here is a picture pre and post camo.

I also have a Go Pro Hero, very cool for other angles.

I've also recently ordered a Manfrotto 190XPROL Aluminum Tripod & a Manfrotto 701HDV Video Fluid Head for filming from the ground. Waiting for the fluid head to come in since its still on back order.

Illinoishunter- How do you like the camera arm and the head that comes with it? I just got the same one but have yet to use it.

I just checked, there is only one. Its the first one everything under it are accessories or it moves on to other camera arms.

They have a extra mount for a climber attachment that I'll probably pick up. Other than that I think it just the other bracket that comes with it.

The bandit is good for self filming with smaller cameras. I originally wanted to go with a Muddy Outfitter but its too big to pack in and out unless you have a camera man. The head works good as well. I wish they had included a bubble on it...

Unfortunately though, I dont think it can adapt my new fluid head since the thread size is too small. Plus with the head, my camera and whatnot it can weigh down the front end of the arm quite a bit. So for now I have no problem, might upgrade to the Muddy after this upcoming season.

Figured I'd come back and show off my ground hunting set up. Just got the Manfrotto stuff in the past week. I'll be taking it with me to the ground blind in two weeks:

I'm filming w. a Canon XHA1s. I have about $2100 into everything. That's for the Camera, Shotgun Mic, Camera Arm, Manfrotto Head, Varizoom remote, Tripod w. head and remote, Wireless Mic and rain cover and 3 batteries.

This is similar set up to ours, how much did that lanc hotshoe run you? I've been looking into that.

I wish we had the coin for a set up like that! My main camera has about 300 into it (canon hf m30, AT pro24 mic) saved about half by shopping used though.
