I've been a lurker ever since I binge watched all the Bowhunt or Die webisodes in October and finally decided I needed to sign up for an account. I bow hunt in NW Louisiana on private company owned land and a couple of WMAs in the area. I also bow hunt in Deep East Texas on a couple of farms. I am also an avid wild pig hunter and love to use primitive traps to catch them as well. If you're in my neck of the woods, I am always looking for someone to run trap lines with in the off season and just hang out.
Welcome, I am a big fan of east Texas, except what doesn't have thorns or burs in the woods is poisonous or will try to kill you. I was down there on the shuttle recovery and when Texas was burning up the winter of 2005?
I am originally from Hemphill, TX. We had a lot of the debris from the crash come down on our land. Both parents and a brother are on the Volunteer Fire Department there. My Dad was unfortunate enough to find part of an astronaut. That was a crazy time in our small town.
